“see video #142 of 1985 Honda ATC 250 ES. It ran well on pickup - below freezing weather on test ride. All lights, gears, switches worked. Ran well. Made good power, shifted well. Idled well. Brake cables were stiff from sitting but brakes worked. Carb dripped fuel after sitting with fuel left on. Everything else appears to work well and operate properly. Front Fender, seat and controls are all nice. Rear fenders are shot. Gas tank has been patched, but does not leak. I don’t clean or touch up parts. You see them as I took them off. They may be dirty, but there is nothing worse than getting what you thought was pristine parts and finding out the seller “touched up” or that it leaks. Watch the video to see it just as I unloaded it after purchase. Many parts fit on other ATC models. The 250es was virtually unchanged from 1985-1987, but If you are buying parts for a different model or year, it wouldn’t hurt to check part numbers before buying.
